Facility to view Jamabandi records from all 534 anchals of Bihar has become available to citizens at the departmental portal located at http://biharbhumi.bihar.gov.in/ url. Raiyats can now see Jamabandi details from the comfort of their home. Still, the work requires further improvement as the feedback received suggest that some Jamabandi records are in need of correction in terms of name of Raiyat, their Khata or Khesra Number, Rakba involved or the Lagaan that has been paid/applicable. To resolve these issues at Anchal level, post-rectification is being carried out by the Circle officer as per procedure prescribed in our letter no. 339(8) dated-10/06/2019 and 756(8)-28/10/2019.

Parimarjan portal has been established to help speed up this work by facilitating Raiyats to file an online request for necessary correction of Jamabandi record with the department. But naturally, the Circle officer will need to make sure that facts submitted before him through the portal do match the govt. records and can be verified by suitable field level investigation.

Kindly use the Instruction link appearing as option inside the top menu to understand the procedure of submitting a request for correction in Jamabandi record. List of documents that need to be uploaded with the request for different types of issues are summarized below:

(1) Application in prescribed format.

(2) Self-attested copy of Order of mutation case.

(3) Self-attested copy of Correction Slip.

(4) Self-attested copy of Bhu-Lagaan Receipt.

(5) Self-attested copy of latest Final Khatiyan (CS/RS)

(6) Self-declaration in desired format.
